News of the progress and events in nature and the seasons, and local discoveries of biodiversity are neglected, not because they are uninteresting to readers, but because most reporters are unfamiliar with what's going on. This makes it the responsibility of naturalists to write articles for local media. This challenge is nicely taken up in the local North Grenville Times
