Mission: Fragile Inheritance promotes and supports the long term study of species and habitats, human & environmental effects on them, and the conservation of biodiversity, based on the lifetime work of Fred Schueler & Aleta Karstad.

Aleta’s paintings serve not only to depict the beauty of what they have seen, but also as a principal source of income as they pursue their avocation and their dedication to preserving as many of these special wild places as they can.
